NEW POSTAL CHARGES......

Well im shocked at the new post charges and it could be quite complicated.....i add 20p on top of the actual postal cost for packing materials which i think is quite reasonable ......
The actual postal charges to europe and america has shot up by loads ,
i now have to charge for europe : £2.90
and for america + australia         : £3.50
for the uk i think its best to send the outfits unsigned for to keep cost down, the items are still insured and i get proof of posting....
so uk postage  : £1.10
BUT if 2 outfits are bought at once and they wont fit through the slot in the post office the price goes up to £2.90, so it sounds ridiculous but it will be cheaper to send them in 2 separate parcels.....
for bulkier items such as coats the cost will have to be £2.70 ......sometimes with a dress outfit ,my shoe leather is thicker than usual so the item wont easily glide through the slot....at these times i will pay the extra postage costs......

HAPPY EASTER......

We have had some lovely suprises come through the door this week, first was the lovely hanging rail, then from another sasha friend came a lovely top for esme and a blue nose pin badge....
the next day from another sasha friend came a box of chocolate goodies for esme......
and yesterday from yet another sasha friend the poshest easter egg ive ever seen arrived for me !....





I quickly took the next photo as the chocolate bunnies were melting in the sun , so they had to be quickly put back in the fridge......she looks a bit grumpy though even though she is literally surrounded by chocolate....

A GIFT AND A SEWING UPDATE.....

Well first of all, i have been sewing but i wont be able to list as i thought on easter weekend, it will have to be the weekend after...sorry to dissapoint anyone !

Yesterday i came home to find a mystery parcel in the hall, my memory at the moment is terrible so i thought i must have ordered something that i had forgotten about.....
but when i opened it, i found a suprise sasha gift from a lovely thoughtful sasha friend....



a beautiful handmade hanging rail and wooden hangers.......how lovely is that !!!!!




a lady named doreen designed it and it was made by ken her talented husband.....




it was so gloomy this morning when i took these photos.....i really should have ironed the fabric for the backdrop but i quickly set it up outside on the garden bench before it rained again.....
