ANOTHER EXPERIMENT ....

Well this has been keeping me busy ! ...i decided i would like a lighter skinned black doll to maybe use as a model as the very dark girls i have dont photograph well, wether this girl actually does any modelling we will have to wait and see .....she started life as a later caleb , i enhanced her eyes as they looked very flat and then i rerooted her hair ....i didnt want straight hair even though it suited her well so i persevered with my plan of spirals , which didnt exactly go as i thought , i used galvanised garden wire cut into long lengths , it was really tricky to do as the hair was really long and was getting tangled in the wire id already used , the more spirals i did the harder it became but my technique was improving so by the end i was doing better spirals but i didnt go back and do the first ones again which i really should have .....anyway i hope you like her , i wasnt sure but i think shes grown on me and her francis trickett dress really suits her .....

    That was indeed a labour of love Sarah. She looks great - really interesting seeing the 'in progress' photos. She is very photogenic now.

    Incredible!!! Astonishing process of getting the hair to curl. Did you have to use boiling water, or how did you get the curls to stay like that??? However you did it, I think you are a genius!!! So impressive. She looks beautiful. Not surprised she is growing on you. I also like what you have done with her eyes. 5 stars, Sarah! xxx

    Wonderfully amazing and SO creative. Love how you think of these fabulous ideas and then just get on regardless, sorting out and overcoming any ongoing problems that crop up...and finally carrying them out to perfection.
    You are, as most of us already know, a true artist and Sasha genius!

      thanks theresa ...computers still not fixed its at the menders and will take at least 12 working days till its back, it was only a month out of warranty ...so rich has finally given in and is letting me use his which is difficult as hes on it so much xxx
