NEW GIRL ....

I wasnt planning on a new arrival but i mentioned to a friend that id seen a girl like this on ebay and that by the time i decided to buy her someone had got there first so my friend said she had this girl who could come to model for me , when she arrived her hair  was quite thin on top and her fringe a bit frizzy, id not planned on doing any rerooting but esme phoned after school to ask if she could go to a friends for tea , so i had a spare few hours .....i didnt have the right colour hair but im impatient so i used the best match i had and its blended in quite well, so i rerooted the top of her head and now i think she looks lovely , im not sure about the hair clip that you cant see in the pic but im trying to make her hair stay over by itself , i can see though shes going to be a difficult model as one leg is way longer than the other  and shes difficult to stand , ive stuffed one shoe with cardboard and also stuck something under the shoe to make that leg a bit longer , its made her ok to stand but its not easy and she looks a bit awkward , her outfit will be for sale in a few weeks, im not sure its the most suited for her but it suits her better than the other things ive made so far .....rather alot of photos !

  1. Everything about these photos is lovely Sarah, the girl is gorgeous with her sweet expression and pretty eyes, the outfit is very nice, lovely fabric, and the hair is great.....you did really well with 'not quite the right' colour match, you'd never know it and it works very well indeed.
I think she's really really nice, well done!

    1. thanks sharon, she needs a restring , when i took her apart i stretched her elastic , so i restrung her arms the english way and tightened her other elastic but now she wont pose , she was perfect when she arrived but i may have to do it again properly , as for her hair its really bright red and the only hair i had was a brown shade but somehow its blended really well and doesnt look brown at all ...glad you like her ! xxx

  3. Have always been very partial to this style of eye painting, My little cut haired waif, Holly has it.
Great job on the enhancing re-root. You'd never tell the difference. between the colours.

Have you told her that she's to be one of your models and therefore gets to wear your superb vintage-sasha outfits.(well for a little while anyway).... so has to be able to stand up straight and unsupported whilst you are taking the photos?
This might just be all that's needed rather than a whole new re-string!

  5. Oh you lucky girl! It took me ages to finally find a girl with a face like this and her hair has some issues too. Wish I could come along someday when Esme is not at home and try work out something together...not that I would not love to meet Esme of course! I also love this outfit...looks like you are back on track again! Love, Fanny
