I really like the way that the Gotz doll's, both the 1960s and the 1990s, hairs braid. I'm so often disappointed when plaiting the hair of some of the Frido/Trendon dolls that the results turn out to be far too bulky for my liking.
I have a large headed Gotz with the same wonky eye but she is a blonde. Hmm...wonder if they were done on the same day or if that was just the style in which the artist preferred to paint? (Same eye too.) Thanks Sarah for sharing your collection of Gotz girls...they're all beautiful! Anne
