A FEW MORE...

Ive finished making the coats now.....

As usual not ideal photo conditions , i took these in between showers and its really windy, i managed to find pink tweed , this started life as a chanel style ladies suit from next but it was made up of tiny panels not wide enough to use but i managed to use the sleeves and the bottom of the front and back bits of the skirt ...

oops she took a bit of a tumble ...

dark navy needlecord, maybe best on a girl whos hair isnt so dark...

it was better sewing this velvet than the previous navy i sewed as i used bigger machine stitches so it didnt push it out of shape too much ...

this one looks nicer in real life than the photos, shes an awkward model as her arms stick out at an odd angle so shes not easy to pose, i nearly didnt make this coat as the fabric is really thick but its a soft wool and quite floppy so it worked well, its just very heavy ...

lastly a pretty floral thin needlecord, i think this set really has to be on the "right" doll....again though it looks better in real life than the not so successful photos of today ....
