ARRIVALS.....

As you know i sold some dolls the other day because i had some new ones arriving, id love to keep them all as i was sad to see them go but im running out of space !....
.first to arrive was this rather handsome boy, im thinking he looks a bit too posh to be living in my house !,  i love his eyes ......i took these pics in bright sunshine the other week and i think hes looking rather orange.....

And yesterday this little beauty arrived, i took a whole lot of photos today in the shade but ive just put them on the computer and the foliage had made her look rather green, ive added one of them but ive just quickly taken some more .....

this little pale skinned waif has just travelled from america where she lived all her life in the desert, in the late 60s her mum saw her in a catalogue and asked her parents to buy her but they said she was too expensive but that christmas she was given to the little girl who took her everywhere with her, eventually she lost all her hair as she'd been played with so much, so she arrived to me completely bald, ive not got many wigs left, this blonde suits but i think a dark brown would be best, i do have one but it looks a bit severe as i trimmed the fringe, i dont know if she was originally blonde or brunette but i suspect the latter,,,....im over the moon with her and she can now join the rest of the waifs in my house....

rather green photo.....

  1. They are both wonderful additions to your family Sarah. The boy reminds me a bit of Ryder who is currently staying here before returning home to the USA.

Your girl looks very pretty in that wig - I think she looks great in it. She has a lovely sweet face.

    1. the boys lovely, just a big shame about the hair and i wholly blame you lorraine for me buying the girl, as i looked through your festival pics, i spied her on one of the sales tables, she was stood right at the back,i couldnt see her properly but knew that i wanted her, so then i tracked her down and bought her .....xxxxxx

  2. Awww Sarah, what a handsome pair! The little boy is gorgeous with his pouty face, but yes he does indeed look rather posh!!! I think you're going to have to watch your P's and Q's with this young man!!
And what a sweetie is this little girlie!! Again that pouty face which is so appealing to me...and you too, obviously!! I am so glad that she arrived safely after her travels!!! And isn't it great that you even know her history!!
I really look forward to seeing more of them here on your blog!

  3. The boy is so sweet Sarah and looks almost new! I love his smart clothes.
I think the girl looks great in the pale wig almost ethereal ! The paleness of the dress adds to the look, she is a keeper, you must give her a fairy name !

What a good eye you have! Luckily you :)

  4. Your little pale skinned waif looks so very special with her blond wig, if I were you, I wouldn't change the wig at all :-) ... but this is my opinion. I also love your new lad. He looks very posh in his original outfit, I agree on but I am convinced that an other style will make him look very trendy :-)! Liss xx

  6. I love these two. The slightly green tinge gives your little lady a mysterious and rather special look.

  7. Two fantastic new dolls to add to your already wonderful collection of the Sasha Gotz Dolls.....(plus of course your Trendon models!)

This lad is strikingly handsome and definitely has an air of 'poshness' about him in his school uniform.... whereas the dainty pale skinned waif is such an alluring little soul and I love that blonde wig on her.

You have a super well trained eye for spotting such interesting faces, particularly with the Gotz Dolls.

PS. Glad to know that it isn't just me who is struggling with these green hues!

  9. Sarah, they are both lovely! As you know I am not a big fan of the early Gotz (unless they are no noses), but your two new additions have got me re-thinking, lol.
