NO MORE SOCKS ....

I think i first added socks with the outfits when i made shoes as they fitted under them well ....i had a huge reel of the socks that came in a tube that was stitched at intervals and you cut them to size , you then turned them the right way round and rolled down the tops ....i think the reel held 1500 pairs of socks , now theyre all gone , p&p from america to get more is rather expensive compared to what it was a few years back and as theyre not reallly the best socks and just serve a purpose ive decided not to buy more ....so heres a photo of my little waif baby sat on the empty reel ...xxx

Never mind the socks, as long as they are still going to get knickers ;)

    2. Phew that's a relief....because if I'm EVER quick enough to get one of your outfits, my girls will be so happy to have knickers underneath. I'm not an Essex girl for nothing you know!
Aww thanks on the wig, inspired by you of course. I reckon you should remove her hair again if you miss her as she was previously. Just a thought! ;)

  2. It doesn't liik as though your baby minds beng without socks. Clearly, knickers are the only required garb!
I'm with Sharon here, many of my Sashas, girls and boys are known as Nicholas for obvius, very Essex reasons, and would give up every sock they own in order to have undies. They are what my granny used to refer to as 'all frills on the surface but no knickers under.'
Mind you, like Sharon again, I'm never quick enough to ever buy one of your lovely outfits....but I am determined, one day my kids will be Vintagers!

  3. WHAT NO SOCKS! I don't think's a problem Sarah, as the others say Knickers are much more important or should that be respectable? ;)
Your outfits will be snapped up with or without the socks and maybe whiles someones thinking on, this others will be able to nip in and purchase :) xxx

  4. Didn't know that YOU had a BABY in the HOUSE... and such a dear little tot too! Love the hair style! Well, as they say 'I live and learn.'
Gosh you've made 1500 pairs! Surely that must be a Sasha sock making RECORD?
(I guess that I can forgive you this since you were honest and owned up without any prompting.)
