NEWBIE WAIF ......

Ive always wanted a brunette no navel but have never managed to find the right one , i did have one for a while that in theory was lovely but for some reason she just wasnt for me, so she left for pastures new , then recently i was offered a waif , when she arrived i was quite nervous to open the box but when i did i knew id found my girl ! ...shes very shiny, her fringe had been trimmed and the rest of her hair was quite dry but she had the sweetest face , i decided straight away she would be a perfect model, i hadnt planned on ever buying any more dolls so i didnt want her to be stood with all my "non models" who just stand in a row getting dusty but looking pretty ....
i then thought that id bob her hair , it didnt seem overly thick like some of the no navels so i thought it would be quite easy ...wrong ! i kept thinking that id got it perfectly straight but id look after a few hours and realise it was crooked , so ive trimmed and trimmed and shes ended up with a shorter bob than id planned but i think it looks nice , even though its still not entirely even ...i also brushed a bit of non fringe forward and cut it to make her existing fringe a bit thicker ...
anyway lots of photos as i couldnt decide which were best .....she looks like a tomboy, not sure who made her clothes ....

ps ....no clothes for a while as im doing a reroot and then have coat sets for both girls and boys planned which will take quite a while :) xxxx

    LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! She's just gorgeous Sarah, I love what you have done to her hair !
    I have a brunette no navel whose hair is not the best and I am very tempted to follow suit but I bet it would not look anyway near as good as this girl, she's just beautiful.

      thanks dee, like i say the hair was lots thicker than i first thought so not the easiest to cut ...i need now not to look too closely as she'll end up bald if i keep snipping away :) xxxx

    I can't understand how you always seem to manage to get/buy such fantastic Sasha dolls that I am totally envious of!!! She's definitely MY kind of girl with her latest bobbed haircut. Very lucky you.

      well im envious of your fab brunette no navel, i think my quest was to find a little elfin one similar to yours ...im over the moon with this one but im not sure how she'll be as a model as she looks like a tomboy and im not sure how dresses will suit but we shall see :) xxxxx

    I think she'll make a lovely 1920's flapper girl and look just as good in dropped waist dresses and smocks too. She could convert me to Gotz dolls ! I think her hair is perfect :) x

      you could be right , i was admiring all the beautiful dresses and coats on downton abbey last night ....shes quite photogenic so she may look good in anything , ill have to see :) xxxx
