155 ish PLAITS ....

This girl was a real challenge to do, i bought her knowing her hair didnt look too great, when she arrived i saw the first row of hair was missing, i dont think ever rooted and she had 2 rooted plugs off the proper hair line as if the machine had gone off track, when i removed the hair i was so shocked at the amount of holes, to me it looked like the machine had gone round once rooting some of the holes but others were just little dints not rooted at all, then it must have gone round again resulting in the most holes id ever seen, the vinyl was rough where the needle had gone in so many times....i really thought i couldnt attempt a reroot and put a wig on her but she didnt look right so the next morning i thought id give it a go....so due to the amount of holes this girl ended up with many more plaits than the other 2 similar dolls that i have done ....

  5. Amazing how so much hair becomes what it does. She is so lovely now. Her hair isn't the only gorgeous thing about her--I'm really liking her face paint. I'm particularly taken with her lip color.

  8. I assume this is the girl you rerooted once before with "bobbed plaits", if you can call it that. I thought it impossible to top that, and indeed found you a bit mad when you announced that you would redo her as you were not satisfied with her look. Well, I am stunned, this is a masterpiece and I can only hope you will get back the feeling in your fingers again , that must have been a hell of a job and very painful for you. Deep bow to you! Fanny
