I was asked to make this outfit for my friends granddaughter who is called Libby and will be 9 on august the 13th, she has a sasha doll called Violet who i hope will be pleased with her new clothes !
i agree about the shoes but they werent included with the outfit.....you said exactly the same as i said to the lady that bought it, that it would be far better with pink shoes but i didnt have any pink leather and i didnt think her granddaughter would want boring black....ive ordered some pink now and fingers crossed its a nice shade !....sarah x
hi....ive made so many of these little coats that ive lost count but i dont usually make them untill after summer, this one was made as a one off for a sasha friend, i sometimes do commissions but more in the winter, as this time of year there just seems too many outdoor things to be getting on with and i dont have enough time to sew as much as id like ! but ill try to add things to the blog for sale every week or so.....sarah x
This is lovely Sarah. The classic cut of the coat and the matching dress peeking out make a very special outfit. I am sure Libby will be thrilled with it.
