Bizarre.....

I do try and do gardening but i really know nothing about plants, we've had these plants by the front door for years and today i noticed one has sprouted and looks very strange, i dont know what they are but sasha decided to go and take a closer look .....

We were more than a bit suprised today to see a squirrel in our garden, we sometimes see them in autumn on the way to school but have never seen one near our house, so we quickly managed to get a photo before it scampered away .....

  1. It looks like a succulent of some kind, I bet the flowers will be interesting! We have lots of squirrels in our garden, always raiding the bird feeders. Have a lovely weekend.

  2. They are called HouseLeeks ( sempervivum), they like the sun and are easy to grow and look very nice as can be seen in your pictures.I love the dress your sasha is wearing, such a lovely colour

  3. thankyou Dee....what a mind of information ! i thought it was odd as theyve been there for so long but have never sprouted like that ! i also had some bulbs bought from poundland that on the packet said were hyicynths (sorry spelling !) they shot up really quick not looking very hyicynth like ,all in pots and this week mum tells me theyre gladioli ....so poundland got the labelling wrong on their whole batch...they look lovely though....sarah x
